amex gives you 2 yr warranty when purchase an item on card.
if u use someones GC, u wont have the 2 yr, and that is hugh.
My friend offered Apple GC at 90%, and I felt it was not worth my while because of the 2 yr warranty loss.

But like yeki said on ebay even if it went for 500 you'd have at least 58 in fees, so not only are you avoiding the hassle of ebay you are trying to get more than you you would on ebay.

well to be honest with you, when i first posted, i didn't realize that ebay fee would be around $60. but my revised asking price took the fee into account. if selling on ebay would net me $440, but whoever is looking to buy the gift card would  have to pay $500. so by doing it here, i make $30 extra, and you save $30, which seems fair to me.

it was already established that its not worthwhile to buy these in order to use them for purchases as you lose the amex benies, so its really for someone who wants to get these as a gift for someone. And to be frank, if i have to discount it so much i'll just keep it and  either use it as a gifts, or will use it the next time i'm asked to buy apple products for friends / family in israel.
