Same here. Based on personal experience I would say the average redemption is about half a penny. I doubt I would buy if they were sold for less, but I'm at least tempted when the offer goes to 60 bucks for 60k. Is anyone doing the club Carlson promo?

I need for Dec 2015. No certificates available yet for that day. I'm nervous there will not be any availability then.

Also, wasn't sure the price per point for Hilton. Thank you for clarifying.

Book a refundable cash rate as a backup and then try to get a cert or points. There are so many ways to rack up Hilton points that you can get 95k within a month or two.

Will booking a refundable rate guarantee me a room to be available with pts or a cert?

I already have citi Hilton. Got Hilton to 'lend me' 70k pts to top off my account with 380k. Enabling me to get the 5th night free in Maldives.
In exchange for lending me the pts, they're taking my cert when it drops in June 2015. I thought that worked out in my favor.

How do you figure I can rack up Hilton points quickly?
