galaxy s driver software

I just got my htc replaced by a galaxy s (I know its a really old phone but they said they
can only replace it with a phone in the same catagory as mine was). I tried connecting it to the computer as I use easytether for tethering purposes and it keeps saying that the computer doesn't recognize it and I need to download driver software. Anyone able to help me out with this?
(The problem is I don't have internet on my computer without my phone..)

Go to http://easytether.blogspot.com/2010/10/easytether-drivers.html?m=1 on whatever device u have that has internet access, and download what u need. Then just copy them to your computer and install them.

Just to clarify. Do you mean in order to have the ability to copy the files from the phone to the computer? Or that you have these already you just need the samsung drivers?

Yup you got it. When I plug in my phone to the computer it says device not recognized. So I can't do anything with it.

Why not download the drivers to the phone and transfer them to an sd card to puttem on your computer. You can try to Bluetooth them to a different device that your computer does recognize, and transfer them to the computer from there.
