I'm looking to go away with my wife and I for the first 2 nights of chol Hamoed (Wednesday, Thursday). Willing to travel up to 3 hours from NYC. Looking preferably for SPG properties or A nice Hilton, with some activities to do close by. Don't need food since well bring our own.

Any thoughts or ideas?

travel zoo has a deal for cove haven 200 per couple. There is kosher food there too

something more elaborate than the circus...any amusement parks other than great adventures??? any different ideas other than the usual advertised? in NY area .ct,nj,pa??

I think I'm gonna go to Stamford for the day and night. I was planning on bringing some snacks for the day and eating supper at Gateways, but they want 50 bucks a pop for supper and 70 including the concert.

Any other ideas for food?

its worth it. Steak for suppers.
