Here in BP, the stores earn enough money before Pesach for the whole year. People buy either before Pesach or when G&G has a sale. Dry goods stores never have sales...

If you find yourself in a chasidishe area you'de ask the question the opposite way, as certain crowds are very makpid not to wear anything that's buttoned from left to right.

Their blouses would button right over left so that the maids (who were right-handed) could face them and manipulate the buttons with their right hand, while holding the buttonholes steady with the left.
