Is this risky?
« on: March 18, 2013, 06:48:07 PM »
Have 4 kids UA accounts with not enough miles for ticket. Will transfer from UR enough miles for domestic ticket. Then will book one bochur on each for domestic flight. my bochur is same last name as kids accounts, others are not. My bochur goes free, others will pay me.
Seems to me to be low risk, am I right? If 4 guys show up with award tickets will they pry at the airport how they got these tickets?

UR transfers are only allowed to spouse.
You might be able to pass one kid off as a spouse, but if you transfer to all four, they might ask for proof that you're Sfardi, or lehavdil, a mormon.

No its not.
It is just against the program rules, and could result in getting booted off.

I can't imagine them having a problem transferring points to my young kids same last name to top off account... (Actually done it before..)

So is the issue getting the miles into the accounts only, what about flying on a kids award ticket?
