( i ordered in advance - dint know they have stock!)
Phone/Email?Were things double wrapped?
Anyone have any pics of the lounge or kosher food?
I visited the centurion lounge in LAS yesterday, So let me share my experience.1) You can't enter with a canceled platinum card, As they swipe your card at the front desk to see if it's active, i gave my canceled card at the front desk and they told me right away sorry your card is canceled, But i was lucky enough as i applied for a new platinum 4 days ago, And when i turned around to leave the lounge they called me back saying that they see i was approved for a new card 2 days ago, And they will let me enter even tough i have not received my new card yet. and the rep couldn't get over the amount of canceled platinum cards i have on my account 2) they have a full kosher menu always in stock no need to reserve right away when i entered i had a friendly chef walking over to me without even asking, asking me if i would like a kosher meal and they had the following main dishes served with 2 sides of Mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables a roll and 2 pastries as a desert.Mini roast SchnitzelGrilled chickenBaked SalmonI chose the mini roast and it was fresh hot and delicious. the meals are catered by Haifa kosher restaurant in Las Vegas.Overall the lounge is beyond beautiful, alot of private spaces with conference rooms, and brand new beautiful designed private showers. A fully stocked complimentary bar (i emptied the whole Glenlivet 21 and they apologized for not having more for the night ) They have a very helpful service desk as well, They helped me with switching seats and tried to upgrade me to business but they got stuck in the middle since the flight started boarding already.
1. I got in with an expired plat as the rep assumed they didn't send me the new one yet
2. You need to call ahead for kosher food if you are in a rush.
Interesting because when i was there they were able to tell me exactly how much opened and canceled cards i have on my account, And they were even able to see that i got approved for a new card but did not yet activate it.
Not everybody has the talking skills that you have.
Im at the lounge now in las, wow im blown away. I hope they open more of these! waiting for my kosher meal from haifa. They said if u order 2 days prior theres more selection and it will be fresh instead of whatever is in their freezer.
Is there a direct number to call?Wanna ask about kosher food in the DFW lounge?
He said DFW has kosher as well and to call amex and ask them for the dfw lounge contact info.
Cool, post pics of the food.
Since the lounge is located at the D gates, is anyone familiar with security at LAS to know if it is possible to transfer from A/C/E gates to D without having to re-clear security?
