Question: I'm flying from TLV to YYZ with united miles (think flight is Air Canada), then want to go to Chicago. If I book a flight with BA Avios from YYZ to ORD, can I have my bags be checked through all the way from TLV to ORD even though changing to AA (with Avios)?

yes, if they have a baggage sharing arrangement.
If you have not yet booked, is there a flight on united or partner from YYZ to ORD?  You can get it booked on the phone as part of your trip for no extra miles.

Saw that. For most people on here IN is irrelevant  :)

BTW see my updated post about Dec 25.

Honestly, I don't know what ETA stands for (I do see sometimes people add it when they are editing a previous post)

I booked a UA flight within 24hrs and wanted to change the date? I prefer to change than to cancel and re-enter. I cant seem to find the option to change, only to cancel. Does that option take time to show up?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

I'm not sure where the proper place is to post this question but here it is. I booked a United saver business through United flying Lufthansa Tuesday morning from Tlv to phl with a stopover in Frankfurt. They called me today that the 8am flight to Frankfurt was cancelled because of a strike so they're putting me on the 5am to Frankfurt and then the same flight from Frankfurt to phl. Then they called me back that the flight was cancelled to phl and they're putting me on a direct Wednesday. First question is can I get the 10,000 mile reimbursement for the difference between a partner saver and a United saver. Second can I get any type of reimbursement for having to stay an extra day like food/car/hotel/phone missing work? Any advise including how to go about it would be appreciated
Thanks
