from TLV-ZRH-BUD-ZRH-EWR can that route be done for the same amount of miles?
You can only stopover on a RT.

Not sure why it has to be edited/deleted. Its all on the blogs. Why shouldn't DDFrs utilize it as well?

Of course they do. But see here http://www.milevalue.com/dont-pay-the-75-close-in-fee-on-united-trick/ MMS posted it after he did. So no Taynes on MMS.
