Forget about Z class. The flight is showing P9. Still they are stingy lately with releasing availability even the flight is not sold out.

But why in the world would you book a standard award?

I'm trying to find award availability for late June NYC-YVR and there's NOTHING. Especially on UA availability during June/July stinks! Am I doing something wrong? Will stuff open up closer to flight? Also, CX has been difficult to find.
Any ideas?

PS- this is for much needed vacation w/ wife so any help would be greatly appreciated!

i'm going for 12H only so RT is $1600 on Y or 1070 OW booked as RT using only one leg i was thinking of booking Y on standard 85k miles also J OW/RT is over 4000/6000 in dollars
please let me know if i have better option thanks

Do you have a Chase/United CC? I see availability for 25k, RT coach. Also some dates have 1st class RT for 25K (July 12).

Yes I have the CC. I should have been more specific: The only dates that really work for me are last week of June and first week of July (yes I know very picky but I gotta work around wife's school schedule).

Would rather save those miles for another trip......Between the two of us we have 200K United and 115K Chase. Am I being way too cheap?

CX J/F tends to open up very close in.

Are you doing OW or RT? Also what is your routing?

i cant i'm a cohen and delta leaves @1150PM and it will give enough time for mais to be on board odds are that UA90 wont carry mais. the office of the frum funeral homes told me that they wont be able to send mais with UA90 also i want to fly in J and i have TLV-ZRH-JFK in J thanks for you help

I don't know if this info would help but the maisim exporters don't use delta and do use united
