BKK-HKG is pricing at 17.5k in Y, and 25k in J. Would it price out the same with layovers just under 24 hours in PEK and ICN? Trying to get the most I can out of an award ticket :)

I know on an international OW, you can take a connection <24 hours. Not sure about 2, and I doubt you could get 23 hours in each of those cities. Perhaps 24 hours total in connection time.

There may be something about not allowing backtracking, and the way the map looks is, not so sure would work.

Hmm, I see, good point. Would BKK-PEK-ICN-HKG be considered backtracking? If not, at least BKK-PEK-ICN should work, and then just 10k BA ICN-HKG.  Thanks guys for the info

Why do taxes (from LA-YUL) seem to vary every time I check for the exact same flight? is it a currency thing? its only varies by a little, but still

Currently have 2 PAX booked in IN on SFO-EWR, waitlisted for SFO-JFK.

SFO-JFK has XN available.

Am I better off:

1) Splitting the 2 PAX into their own reservations, so one of them has a better chance of clearing?
2) Booking the XN and doing a Plan B, without giving up the confirmed IN booking, and then cancelling one or the other closer in?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Any issues having the same guy on the IN wait list twice?

It probably would pay to have the Club Card for an instance like this. Not that you'd pay $400 for it, but you'd apply in the branch or send a SM to get it free for the first year. I've found that your premier access and club membership continue for about 16 months regardless.

Club card doesn't waive change fees.

Got three INKs over time in the Branch . Are you sure no Club card fee if applying through an officer that I am friendly with ?
Thanks

Changed it from lga-iah-lax to jfk-lax.
Got economy plus and the fee waived on the first call .

How long before the flight do business seats usually open up?
