It's not lie-flat. Just wondering about the quality in general.

I flew about a year ago first class flat bed united NYC-LAX

I have some questions about United but not exactly about award booking but this is the only thread  for United so I will post here.

1) If someone has elite status can he book me a economy ticket through his account and I will get economy plus free?
2) If he books me an expensive economy class ticket can I get J for free?
3) If these benefits are only if he is flying and I am a companion on his ticket, can he book for himself too and get me upgraded and then can he cancel out?

4) Is there any tricks getting elite status on UA, like I know someone that got PL with elal without flying and paying for it? (please PM me)

Thanks

What part are you quoting me?
Number 4 for the PM?
Because I don't think anyone will want to publicize it.

1. No 2. No. 3. Probably yes, but you know that there are heave penalty's involved. 4. Not what I know of.

Any reason United is pricing this as two separate awards?

On the phone they should be able make it as one award ticket.

On the web will only show same day, if there are flights

I pieced it together via multi destination and got this pricing. I can always call.

As long you not changing any airport, there is no change fee

The first one. That card doesn't help.

United is not AA

United charges $75 for changes.
