LAX-JFK or EWR in J is only 20k SQ.

Changes/Cancellation with LH is $60

Thanx !
Singapore can be booked online or it needs to be over the phone ?
Also there's no availability to jfk, only to ewr. Whats the j like in the plane ? It's not lie flat. Seat guru says 7.5 pitch. Whats that mean ? What kind of experience is that ?

UA flights booked with SQ needs to be booked over the phone.

All UA J on JFK-LAX route are lie flat. On JFK-EWR only a few a day are lie flat. I've only flown the JFK one and it's decent.

ETA-Actually I have flown UA J (a few years ago) non lie-flat. Not great.

Looking at flight for tom morning  for EWR-ORD-PDX. I need 3 seats. When I search for 2, I get availability, 3 I dont. Is there way to know if 3rd seat will open up once I book 2. My understanding is there will be no way for me to cancel as it's within 24HRS. Is that correct? How about if I book same flight through Aeroplan?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

If you book through UA, you have 24 hours to cancel even within 24 of flight. AC does not have free cancellation.

What about putting them on hold and then seeing if more show up?

So I booked an award ticket for my brother in law from SFO to OGG in UA first via LH milesandmore. He missed the flight and they couldn't get him on first on the next flight only economy. He took it. will United refund the difference to mileaandmore ?what possible compensation is available from United? Since its my account do I need to call United or mikesandmore to claim the difference ? This was yesterday.

Thanks

Not sure what they would do, but you would likely have to go through LH.

You would have to talk to M&M but whatever they will give you back will be as a goodwill. They don't owe you anything.

Tip of the day!
It is always worth to give a call!
I was looking for a while to snag a flight on Swiss YUL-ZRH-TLV, there was availability on the YUL-ZRH portion for the day I wanted, but there wasn't any availability on the leg from ZRH-TLV on the morning flight (I didn't want my wife to hang around for 16 hours in Zurich....(it would be too expensive :)), so my wife called up United, and they were able to book it, even though it didn't show up neither on United or AC, (ANA sucks anyway... since they ''''updated'''' their website).

Is there anything else?
Tnx!
