The domestic first in the 737-900 is actually really nice, but if you'd want to sleep, you can wait it out and see what happens.

I have a $1200 flight credit for a flight I booked and didn't end up taking. Any way to change the flight without paying the $200 flight change fee?

Can you change only the return leg of a United award flight? Say I wanted to extend my stay, would I be able to do that? If so, is there a specific time frame I have to do it in? TIA!

Or hope for a glitch. Well, let's just say that I happened to be very lucky.

I've been the recipient of some luck as well. Can't rely on it, but it happens.

It was too bad Dan didn't update the post on DDMS after I posted that the free changes were extended to flights departing the 9th and 10th as well. I guess that would have earned me a HT.  ::)

That flight was supposed to land at EWR at 2am! Was the only saver available.

When cancelling an award flight (within 24 hours) is it true that it takes 2 weeks to get the miles back?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

So how long does it take? (It's been a couple of hours already)

update: got 'em.

They show in my history. Even though the mileage balance wasn't updated, I was able to use them.

SQ transfers are not instant. Reports vary for how long it takes. Could be overnight, could be a couple of days.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

so assuming that space opens up, i should just transfer in 20k UR points now to be able to book the united 25k award flight when it eventually opens up?

It pays to have something in SQ if you want to jump on it when it's available.
