dunno if this is the right forum, but Dan often posts on the MS about award availability on UA EWR-TLV in biz, I see at least 5 biz seats on 12/31 both flights (searched using Aeroplan), that's pretty unprecedented!

IS CPT-JNB-FRA-YUL-LGA a valid routing for UA awards?

I see availability for all segments in J, and their site even prices CPT - FRA and FRA - LGA, but when I try to combine it all via the multicity feature, it gives me a much higher price than what should be for CPT-NYC routing.

thanks, that's a bummer. if I use AC, I get hit with high fees on their own flights.
Aegean does not charge fuel surcharges to fly on Air Canada or United.

The other airlines they charge standard
If you have SPG, may be an alternative to AC.

Aegean

TY, seems like its only 55K Aegean points for one way in J CPT-NYC? which is great. my concern is that it might take too long for the SPG transfer. do they allow reservation holds ala SQ?

Transfer takes about 9 days. They do hold.

Changing flights with same origin and destination and same date incurs a fee?

Might be worth paying the change fee for that.

On a budget. $375 gonna break the bank at this point. And anyway, availability disappeared today. Its 4 hours. Ill survive. Return is BA 777 and AA 77W so only one leg to really "suffer" through. And the shortest ome at that too.
