So how would you code such a flight for J(Bussiness)?

Why do the reps keep on telling me "I" class for the bussiness flight?
I dont see any fare class coding as I.

What I'm trying to get them to do is put me on the flight from tlv-JFK stops in Frankfurt, now theres no bussiness avlb for the 1st segment wondering if they can still book me a bussiness class for the 2nd leg?

ETA seems Business

There are no I or IN buckets. It comes out of the J, C, or D buckets IINM. As there are no Business seats on the TLV-MUC flight it will be mixed cabin at best, again IINM.

Expanded economy saver is XN, and expanded business saver is IN?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Yup.
Thanks.
On United flights it shows IN0 or XN0 to indicate there is no availability in that class. On partner flights it does't show IN or XN at all. I thought that is because there is no added availability on partner flights... So why does it not show X or I at all? Not even X0 I0? Is there a different signage?

Yes. You cannot see partner award availability in the fare buckets. Sometimes there could be 8 unsold seats and no award availability.

AFAIK award classes from most airlines don't show in GDS.

I had the same question when the rep kept on repeating to me it's I class I class when I told her I don't see that class in expert mode where do you see anything about I class she told me she has a different server ti see these options.
But C or Y is what seemed to have showed the availability for J on Lufthansa(LH).
