My kids account is just short 2500 miles for an award, is there anyway to add, other than buying or transferring
through UA which is very expensive?

Transferring UR - have already transferred to a household member can that member be changed?

Any other ideas?
sure, pm me

Why can't you transfer back to his UR and transfer to UA?

it seems that united are charging redeposit fee on award tickets even if 30 days out. you need to call in to do it for free the website is charging the fee, unlike delta and american, i think its very dishonest of united, probably tricking lots of people into paying the fee !!!

I just flew to Israel on United. I left on Sunday and came back yesterday. The outbound flight had about 20 empty seats in business, and the return flight was all empty but maybe 7 passengers in business.
Is there a reason why business saver wasn't available even at the last minute? What is their strategy?

They want to sell seats?
Use Plan B.

Does anyone know if I booked a flight using Chase Ultimate Rewards points, and then upgrade Economy Plus using my Chase United Explorer card, will I be eligible for a free checked bag?

Just got tickets using Turkish Miles but neglected to use my explorer card when paying the tax in order to get free luggage.

I would cancel and rebook, except that the # of miles necessary have increased since original booking.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Use Plan B.

I tried and called 6 times. No one was able to help me with Plan B even if I told them to look it up on the CORE system. I gave them all your instructions. ;-)

Does it help to use your explorer card to get the free luggage? I booked earlier this year using LM, used my explorer card and did not get free luggage.
