They want to sell seats?
Use Plan B.
Still doesn't answer why even at the last minute no availability
Still looking for a good MS method :)

Does anyone know if I booked a flight using Chase Ultimate Rewards points, and then upgrade Economy Plus using my Chase United Explorer card, will I be eligible for a free checked bag?

Just got tickets using Turkish Miles but neglected to use my explorer card when paying the tax in order to get free luggage.

I would cancel and rebook, except that the # of miles necessary have increased since original booking.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Use Plan B.

I tried and called 6 times. No one was able to help me with Plan B even if I told them to look it up on the CORE system. I gave them all your instructions. ;-)

Does it help to use your explorer card to get the free luggage? I booked earlier this year using LM, used my explorer card and did not get free luggage.

Did you read his post? He clearly wrote 7 people in Business.
Flights from Isreal to NY never have only 7 passengers.

I have a UA booking from TLV - EWR and a separate booking on AC from EWR - YUL, is there any way I can avoid having to claim luggage in EWR?
TIA!

No, even if it was one booking you would need to claim your luggage.

I dont think there is a way to do this but will ask anyway:

I booked three economy tickets EWR-TLV when that great sale happened for 20K each way.  I want to now change the dates of the flights without any miles fare difference costs but this seems like an impossibility since there is no such low mileage fares(20K OW) at this point?

I recently tried canceling an award ticket (US domestic) online, and was asked for the $125 redeposit fee. Did they recently change their policy?
