Isn't 57,500 the normal rate for UA metal?

Trying to book one of those returning to the US flights from TLV with a trailing flight to (someplace nice - let's say HNL) a few months later, for the same 42.5 miles in Saver as just the flight from TLV to EWR.

1. Is this typically done online? I keep getting errors when I try to do it on United.com with multiple destination, and the one-way search gives me options, but just gives me the most direct flights, not letting me extend the second leg out more than a day or so.

2. If not, is there anything specific to ask for (or NOT ask for) when I call in to get this done?

[EDIT] 3. Do I have this totally wrong, and I have to make a a multi-destinaton RT, EWR-TLV, TLV-EWR, EWR-HNL? I... may be on to something?

Thanks.

If i book two segments on LX, one using united miles and one using lh miles and more will that be considered one ticket by lx? (i.e. if there is a delay in the first flight or checking bags all the way through- the tickets are more than 12 hours about so I shouldn't run into delay cancelation issues but just in case)

If I make a reservation using United points and cancel it (within 24 hours), how long does it take for the miles to be redeposited in my account? Thanks!

Try booking  (by phone  213.404.0301) through Singapore (KrisFlyer), if you have Singapore (Chase )miles.
