I need to cancel an award ticket that I made about a month ago due to a siblings wedding being planned on those dates. Is there any way they would be accommodating for something like this?

I called right after i got emails for each one.

Is this a case where you changed the ticket and then called to cancel, or did the airline changed something?

Would like to cancel tickets without the $200 fee.

There were flight time changes which did not work for me.

I just canceled an award ticket due to a half hour schedule change which they emailed me about 2 weeks ago. Rep first said they cant do it but then she spoke to her supervisor  & when she got back on the line she said her they have a new policy that they can cancel with no penalty for any schedule change

I've got a LAX-EWR flight today on award in J, and got a notice about weather possibly affecting flights, and change fees will be waived.
My flight is still listed on schedule, but I'd like to rebook it LAX-JFK instead (better product).
There's a seat on that one, but the rep tells me that since my flight is still on schedule they can't change me into a different fare class (no award space on the JFK flight).
Is he right, or should I call and try again?

I got to the airport like 2 min late and missed the cutoff to check in my luggage. I was then told to stand in some line, and was forced to miss my flight. Is there any way I can force them to put me on a partner airline?

Tried 1 HUCA, didn't have time for more. They were still unwilling to switch. But at least my flight left on time :)

No, unfortunately the only thing you can hope for is for them to put you standby on the next flight.
You can file a complaint later, they might offer you some compensation, but don't bet on it.

What would the complaint be for?

It was her fault for arriving late, the airline didn't have to put her on another airline  as it wasn't their fault.

When you pay $200 to redeposit the miles when canceling a ticket, is that option  always available or it cant be to close to the flight?
