I upgraded last week Wednesday from xn to I for 12.5k miles more and they didn't take the miles yet!
Is it safe to assume that they forgot??
Are you sure that the tkt is reissued in I class?

Even for international, no need to be there 2.5 hours before.

So you think 30 minutes before check in will be ok?

IME 60 minutes was the cut off in EWR if you are checking luggage.

Question -
I'm trying to book an award tick with United - Miami to Tel Aviv and return. It connects in NY. On the return I would like to stay in NY for a few days. Can this be done online? What it seems to be doing is not showing me any dates that don't have same day connection.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Book it as a multi-city ticket.

Do you mean as Multiple Destinations?
When I try it that way it does not show me any availability but when I check as One Way I see the flights.

Yes. You can call them and tell them it wasn't showing online.

According to United, you must be 18 years or older to apply for a Mileage Plus account, how do I collect the miles of my kids if they are younger than 18?
