Is it possible to change a *A flight, booked with UA miles, within 24 hours of the flight, even though the official rule is up to 24 hrs. ?

Yes
Is it hard to find an agent whose willing to do it ? Any specific number where it's easier to get it done ?

I don't believe such a rule exist. You probably got another dumb airline agent. Again the airlines raise my blood pressure with hiring such dumb stupid agents. And now if the agent already noted the ticket you'll really have a hard time getting it changed.

It's on the UA website. Dumb stupid agents come in handy many times too.

Anyone else having problem finding LOT availability revenue or award on United? Trying to find LO27 on 10/6. ITA and Google Flights both have it. When I try to book revenue through Google Flights it send me to the old United site. If I try to change anything it send me to new site with no flight info.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

I did too, but THAT specific flight does not show up, even for revenue. And there are many seats available per LOT website. And United is now back to its old site again. There must be something going on.

I am trying to book OGG-EWR with a connection in SFO/LAX in business but it looks like they blocked all saver award availability from October-December. Anyone have advice on when they may release saver awards on these routes? It was showing plenty of options a month ago but now over the last few weeks nothing.

I want to blame Jeff S. for this along with many other items but I think Oscar M. may have a hand in this as well....;p
