Why is this pricing out for me at 80k instead of 70k? Doesn't defining whether it's the United or partner rate go by the longer flight? (I seem to recall this was discussed here recently, but couldn't find it).

Partner business short haul in same region=UA pricing.
Partner coach to 3rd region=UA pricing.

I have an award flight for later today and I want to switch to an earlier flight, which is free only for Premier Platinum and
Premier 1K members. Can I get someone else with that status to change my ticket on their own account with my conf. number?

Check in online and you will see your name on the upgrade waitlist.

Click on the seat map when you pull up the flights. Lie-flat has a bed-like shape.
