With UA expert mode down, can someone with a United credit card please check for me if there is any J availability on 04/21, or first flight on 04/22 from EWR to LAX? Thanks.

EWR-FRA-TLV-IST-NRT in LH J & TK J
75K UA miles + $44

EWR-FRA-TLV in LH J ended up costing me only 35K UA  :D

Somehow United had changed my last 2 legs (which I did not plan to fly anyways) to route thru BRU, flights were cancelled because BRU was closed, and UA refunded 40K...

Chances that I can get a RT NYC-->MEL, SYD or AKL (any combo) fully in J for any 6-14 night period touching 1/23-1/29.

Would love to get the NYC-->LAX connection in J both directions (seems rare) and would love to get it all at once so that I can keep the free domestic OW kicker.  Tips?  I think the chances are less than 1%...

You will have a better chance on the return.
Maybe if you route through Asia.

does the close in fee method only work on UA flights or also on partner flights? Looking at booking a LH business flight from NYC to AMS.

TYIA!

I booked a EWR-LAX on their 777 in F, and now I checked I see that they changed my flight (without informing me) to a later flight in Z on a 757 (the 777 is still flying, but F is full). Any recourse, and should I try asking for AA F? What are my rights? Any help appreciated.

How did you set up that redemption originally?

Please forgive the noob question, but did you do a multi city search for each of the stops?

Can't remember if I did input each of the stops or just nyc-tlv-nrt. Did multiple trials within the 24h free cancellation period.

Looks like due to demand they are switching the Dreamliner to the 777 for the summer.
