It should be one award, not two. I dont know why its pricing that way. Its squarely within ACs multicity routing rules. Have never been able to get that to work properly either.
Hi! Can I do NYC-LAX-NYC-TLV ?
When booking an award flight for somebody else using my miles, can I use their credit card (person who is flying, different last name than me) as opposed to my own, for taxes and fees?
Can I stopover in JNB or CPT on a NYC - TLV round-trip? How about TLV- NYC R/T? Do the current rules exclude this? Hows it diff than nyc-tlv-nrt-nyc?
How many days in advance to UA flights become bookable?
United opens their calendar ~338 days out for travel on partner airlines, while they only open up space for travel on their own flights ~335 days out.
If I wanted to find the amount an award ticket costs for TLV to VCE or MXP: 1.What would be the best way to price on United.com to get the most miles? 2. Would I be eligible to take advantage of United s free stopover program , 3. If yes where would I be able to stopover?
1. I dont understand your question.2. Yes, assuming your ticket is RT3. Anywhere in Europe or North America but keep in mind UA stopover rules are changing Oct 6th.
So what would be the new rules if I book after Oct 6th? What would I be a able to do?
Tried logging into my UA account last week and got a message to call MileagePlus. Called them and was told that they closed my account back in June and that they couldn't tell me why because it was done by the corporate security team. I asked them why nobody ever called me to tell me that they were closing my account and got a shameless "I don't know." They told me that they emailed the Corporate department on my behalf and that I'll hear from them within 5 days. Obviously, never got a call. Just called back and was told to wait another 5 days.It almost seems like AA and UA are trying to compete with each other on who can suck more.
