is there a way to switch an existing award to a different flight on the same day / same exact route without inuring a change fee? no status obviously.

will do, just didnt want to waste time if they are systematically unable to make a change without waving the fee.

just a DP, after 5 HUCAs, still no luck getting the change fees waived...

Appreciate your taking the time to post the DP. My son has an award flight next week and would love to change the time only ... sounds like it may not be possible without fee.

no prob. further update... while i wasn't able to make the change without them waving the change fee, once it became 24 hours away from the flight, i was able to switch to my preferred flight using the same day change feature and the rep did waive the $75 p/p same day change fee. so there appears to be more leniency on that policy, at least based on my one-off experience.

Change fee/cancellation fee are near impossible to waive with UA.

can someone pls post the link where it shows how much it cost + miles to upgrade a seat..depends on type of ticket one purchased..I know there is a chart on united that shows the break down, just cant find it

there’s a few posts on DDMS about it. Search on DDMS “United” and find a post that Dan talks about it

I have a United credit card and the flight shows jn Seats available. Shouldn't I be able to book a business standard award as a card holder?
