Redeemed United miles for an international flight on Air Canada with a domestic connection. I called United to add an infant, and they wanted $400 for the infant. I asked for supervisor to try reprice it, coz that's ridiculous for an economy seat. They didn't budge on price and said to call air Canada to try add the infant.  But now when I look on the reservation on the air Canada site, it has my infant recorded with a ticket number. I contacted air Canada, and they say that from their end, the infant is 100% confirmed. Is there a chance they'll cancel it?
why would they?

I have a flight from TLV to NYC on August. Right now we are sitting in Economy plus. For $333 or 35k points each we can upgrade to Premium (4 tickets)..Is it worth it?

FYI. I just flew with the new United Dreamliner in j and was really disappointed with the seats. The seats are extremely narrow and very uncomfortable. Overall the plane is beautiful, it smells fresh and is very clean but the seats are terrible. I think I would prefer the old plane which had much wider and more comfortable seats.

Also one very important thing, do not take the seats that have the legs facing the aisle. The seats and the aisles are very narrow and you will get you legs hurts servel times from passing ppl. The flight attendant even complained and said she can’t work in these narrow aisles.

Yes from ewr to lax.
LOL.
Was it a 787-8, -9, or -10?

I guess 787-10 based on your description?

I just flew the same route with the Polaris seats & I have to agree with you somewhat, however I'm biased as they don't give out mattress pads on flights of this length.
The old United J seat with a pad felt much more comfortable & less cramped

Is 78J J that much worse than the 77W J?

As seats go for more privacy, they are going to be feel more cramped and claustrophobic.

Rather have more space then privacy... it’s not like your private your still in public...

In a mixed cabin award booking where the international legs are in J and the final domestic leg in Y, do you ever get a chance to change the last leg to J if there are open seats at check-in? Are you a displaced J passenger?
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.
