IIRC, the official rules are 1 for Y; 2 for J and 3 for F.

But as Batchy said, if you get an agent to note your ticket, you may get 3.
To Isreal on United there is no F right?

There isn't, but they call it business/first if that makes a difference

There's no direct F to TLV, BF is technically J.
You can fly F with connecting.

Yes.
Is the business class there as nice as the business/first they fly to Isreal? I looked NYC-BRU they currently fly in 767-400 where the business class is like the once to Isreal flat bed etc... however sometime in October I see they are changing to the 777-200 with 3 cabins I wonder if someone that just wants to pay 50,000 miles (not 67,000) Should he fly before they are switching so he will get nice business or the business stays the same they just add some first?
(hope my question is not to complicated)

Actually the 767 is the old CO planes which have the same biz seats as the Israeli flights. The 3 class 777 should be old UA which are also nice in biz, but they have rear facing seats as well, which might be bothersome to some people.

The 777 I've flown (IAD-FRA) wasn't rear facing.

PUTPAC and ask. The chance of the date/time you see online being accurate is about as good as the chance of you finding your car after you park it somewhere in Harlem - it might, but don't count on it.

When booking an award flight from a Premiers account the traveler is getting premier status for that flight  ;) correct?

Do I have to worry that they will make me any problems in the airport? (Ticket was issued from premiers account, not paid with his CC)

If a 1K books an award for me with his miles, will I avoid all change fees?
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Can United just change the plane that will be used for a particular flight? I could have sworn that UA1445 LAX - EWR was showing flat seats and now it is showing regular
