Google it you will find some results, but seatguru.com is a nice resource if you know what aircraft you are looking in to.

I just booked 2 OW UA flights EWR --> VCE in early April, Global First, with a stopover in FRA for 3 hours (looking forward to checking out that first class lounge!) for 67.5K each.  The tickets are on hold until Friday.  I realized that I have a wedding in LA a few weeks earlier.  Is there a way to add a stopover from LAX --> NYC to tack onto my EWR --> VCE award flight?  PUTPAC, or is there a different way?

How long to do you want to stopover in NYC?

A little more than a week.  LAX --> NYC 3/25, EWR --> VCE 4/3.

Since you are arriving on UA First and leaving on LH Business, 2 cabins, you won't have access to FCL or FCT. You need to be on LH or LX First to access those. Sorry.

Correct, no FCT or FCL for you this time around. Also you can add your stopover in NYC by calling. You'd need to find your own way to LAX though.

Well, that's unfortunate.  Thanks.  Guess between today and tomorrow I'll keep looking for a flight for two that would get me there LH or LX.

Thanks, and yes, I realize I'll need to find my own way to LA.  Thanks!

Since when does UA allow a stop over on a OW flight?
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

They don't. But with enough HUCA you can do anything.

Looks like there is no availability LH or LX first in my timeframe.  Is it worth it to spend the 67.5k for global first EWR--> FRA on a 777-200 then business FRA --> VCE, or better to save the 35k and fly business the whole way through?

I would save the 35k and just fly business. But thats my 2cents.

Or try and book the exact route you want now, and cancel without redeposit and get LH F.

Thought of that, but the timing doesn't really work out.  Need to take the vacation around Pesach time...

It's only 17.5k more, not 35k.

It depends what you value your miles at, to know if it is worth it.

Two tickets @17.5k a piece.

If I do redeposit, though, what are the chances of snagging LH F on the particular day I want (4/4)?

No one can predict that, but what's the exact flight you'd want?
