I'm not going to do your research for you, papi.

Let me know which flight, and I can check its current load.

If it's F0 A0 at this point, the chances are slim it'll open up, but if it's F8 A8, you have a decent chance.

Of course, those numbers could change (and will likely change) this far out, but it may help with your decision FWIW.

You'd check availability on ExpertFlyer?  I did, and no F or A is listed.  Does that mean it's not offered?
I checked all star alliance flights from FRA to VCE ON 4/4, and none list F or A for any of the flights.  They're all similar to this:

Expanded
LH 326    FRA 12:25p → VCE 1:45p
J9 C9 D9 Z9 P9 Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 G9 Q9 V9 W9 S9 T0 E0 L0 K0

The only F availability is the NY --> FRA leg:

Expanded
LH 401    JFK 3:55p → FRA 5:30a
F8 A5 J9 C9 D9 Z9 P9 Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 Q9 V9 W9 S9 T9 L9 K9
LH 324    FRA 8:15a → VCE 9:35a
J9 C9 D9 Z9 P9 Y9 B9 M9 U9 H9 G9 Q9 V9 W9 S9 T9 E9 L9 K9

Expanded
UA (LH) 8840    JFK 3:55p → FRA 5:30a
F4 A4 J4 C4 D4 Z4 P4 Y4 B4 M4 U4 H4 Q4 V4 W4 S4 T4 L0 K0
UA (LH) 9078    FRA 8:15a → VCE 9:35a
J4 C4 D4 Z4 P4 Y4 B4 M4 U4 H4 Q4 V4 W4 S4 T4 L0 K0

So is it just not offered?

There is no F from FRA to any EU destinations, AFAIK.

I was talking about your JFK-FRA flight.

The F8 A5 JFK-FRA flight looks promising, and if the F4 A4 stays static, they may open 1 (mayyyyybe 2) seats on that as well.

So this is what I don't understand, and thanks for the patience -- how will the JFK--> FRA leg help me?  Don't I need to be flying F on LH for the FRA --> VCE leg to get FCL/FCT?

Thought of that, but the timing doesn't really work out.  Need to take the vacation around Pesach time...
What does this have to do with what AJK said, he said just cancel now and wait for F to open up on your FRA - VCE route FOR THE DATES YOU WANT. Besides if you wonna be assured with at least EWR - FRA availability ON YOUR DATES that's a different story.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

Not a bad question.

Though I don't believe it's officially allowed, others have had success using the FCT as an arrivals lounge. You won't get the Porsche to the plane, but you can still get the Blue Label and cuban cigars :P

You need to fly LH F JFK-FRA to get into the FCT.

Agree with the first (of course I do ;)), but less so with the second:

He really deserves a spot in your (maybe my  ;) ) thread....

Also, the seats that were open in Dan's post is a very unusual thing, (even for off peak) and it would never happen in such high peak season.

True. But having 8 or 9 seats on UA is possible... but I guess you were answering the question he was asking.

I just found a flight that hasn't been posted till now and reserved it. Problem is I do NOT have any chase or united points at the moment, is there any way to borrow points and pay them back etc? My reservation expires tomorrow night.
