Do TAM award flights generally show up on united website or do I need to call? (Or I can't)
Check ANA also, best is to call in. From what I remember TAM is massed up with showing availability. btw they have poor availability and they are on their way out of the Star Alliance.

Is it normal to not find any Saver awards on direct flights NYC-TLV until October?

It used to be that online, changes were only charged $50 (which was a bug I assume). I checked today, and they increased it to $75.

Of course. When booking NYC-TLV you have to be flexible stopping over in Europe. Though the last minute it opens up a lot (lately the aren't opening up a lot even the last minute)

Wanted to comment this in your thread, but didn't have a chance.

Aha, thanks. So then it makes sense to try to see one of the countries on my list as a stopover to Israel and then after the wedding go back to Europe.

I have the following on hold with UA.

19MAR JFK-WAW
24MAR RZE-FRA
24MAR FRA-EWR

Am I able to add JFK/EWR-LAX in say October as a "stopover"?

Yes.

Would it have to be EWR-LAX as I already have 2 open jaws? Departing JFK and arriving EWR and arriving WAW and departing RZE?

Considered co-terminals, so should be able to depart from JFK, even if they give your grief over having an OJ at your SO point (which should be fine).

Thanks

I called twice before posting and was denied both times.

I have a "free stopover" flight JFK-LAX coming up. I am not going to be taking the flight, nor do I know when I want to take it.

What are my options? If I cancel will it give me credit towards a OW US48 flight by paying a change fee?

If I no-show, what happens?

Any other options?

Cancelling it to be rebooked with a change fee might work. But no-show will void the ticket.
