well if it's worth for you the risk of paying full fare and the embarrassment of being pulled off the flight in front of all other partners, than by all means, go ahead.

Can we get the whole story? Doesn't sound fun.

Don't do it.
It's not fun to be pulled off a flight for a stupid $75.
Are they entitled to cancel my ticket if their system had let it through?

Just trying to understand.

Nobody who used their own miles has been denied boarding for expedite tricks.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Currently have BKK-FRA-MUC-YYZ booked.

Who thinks I should add YYZ-NYC today before the change, in the hopes that after I fly BKK-FRA, the rep will change me to FRA-NYC without a reprice?

(Essentially, If I add YYZ-NYC, I've made it so it won't change O/D after I arrive in FRA if the rep is inclined to just change it.)

If I don't change, I could use 4.5K Avios instead of 10/12.5K UA +$150 change fee...

It is, but I've reached the point where they won't allow me any more connections. It's going to cost me addt'l, and I don't have time today to HUCA HUCA HUCA HUCA UA to avoid the extra.

PC is now going through maintenance, can't open link.

But I believe that link says it's different regions.

I would spend an additional 6-7k miles for a 10% chance it'll cut one stop.

Was responding to avremie.

In any event, if successful, it would actually cut two stops: FRA-NYC or FRA-MUC-YYZ-NYC.

Problem is I may be paying additional miles and $150/pax for a small chance of it not being a reprice.
