I booked a a ticket on UA.com (revenue) The return was in Y class and i have screen shots showing i am in Y class. I called up last week to upgrade and she said 25k each ticket. I called today and they changed the fare to W class which is 35k+550 a ticket!

She wont change it back. anything i can do?
So this lorain brown screwed me :( she saw my ticket priced at a lower fare and decided to change it for no good reason other than bec she is a disgusting pig. I have an email conf showing im in Y class, and i spoke to another supervisor, in short he said there was a mistake in the system and we repaired it. i asked if united only would honor public glitches but a glitvh in my ticket he wont... he laughed.

Any advise how to get my ticket back to Y class?

I finally got one sup to let me email him my itin, and prove to him im not lying. and then he called me back and made up a story why i cant. (if only i wsnt stupid and when she offered it to me to upgrade for 25k each i shouldve just jumped... didnt think i would get a bit screwed)

When I book a flight lets say NYC-TLV for tomorrow and I am paying the $75 close in fee - now I am cancelling it without redepositing the miles, will I get refunded the $75 close in fee?

Not automatically, either PUTPAC or fill out the online refund request form.

Ok I'm seriously  :o

Either the supervisor I spoke to at United has no idea what she's talking about, or I have been misunderstanding the United fee chart this whole time.

A bit of background: DH and I have a free one-way (JFK-HNL) on Feb 23rd from our trip to Europe last summer. I recently committed to running a half marathon in Disney on the same day. We've been waiting for business award availability to open up for months to switch the date but have seen nothing.

Given that today was 21 days from the flight we thought it was the last opportunity to change the flight before the fee switched from $75 to $100. Our goal was to try to get the fee waived (nope) or to try plan B for the less than ideal date of Sept 3rd (also nope since the sup noticed that it was more than 1 year since the date of booking). When I pressed her about what I was supposed to do since there was no availability she told me to keep waiting and maybe something will open up. I pointed out the fee increase after the 21 days we played some verbal chess until she straight out told me that the increase is based on the target date NOT the previous departure date.

Have I been so very wrong or can a sup seriously be this mistaken?

I haven't been here for a few days and may have missed something but I was wondering is there any point in using, tonight, Chase points to to book business to TLV when you can always get it from ANA for 90?
Airlines sending me "We're in this together" emails.

Bruh, where were you when my suitcase weighed it 51.50 pounds?

So is there any indication that they listened to Dan  8) and put the devaluation on hold?

No flights showing at all, other than domestic (which aren't really being devalued, anyway). Guess it's happening... :(
