What's everyone's opinion - better to do Plan B on United 767-400 (and risk not getting business first at all, if not available), or actually book Business on LH A380-800?  2 travelers.
Difference in price? if you do plan b properly, I would go for that considering the huge  discrepancy in miles needed

Same price - I booked I pre-deval, and need to change the date.  I'm assuming it would be the same 50k, or dropped to 30k a ticket if I do plan B and don't get it.

In that case I'd go with LH. I wouldn't want to risk it.

Correct. There is very little to no availability NYC-TLV even with the card.

so what would you do? any suggestions? whats the point of racking up United miles for nyc-tel aviv if no availability? I have to wait for the last minute and then pay fee for less than 21 days?

I was always able to reserve a booking with UA even with no miles in the account, this seems dead now, can someone shed some light?

This is common?
expanded availability varies by the day?

When I upgrade with miles, 35,000 + $600 and I am waitlisted, can I get 2 free bags at check in?

There needs to be XN space available for it to show.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.
