Are you going to be traveling with her? They can just link both itineraries after. But to answer your question, I don't know, but I doubt it.

How are you getting them in your account? Transfer, flown flight miles pending, etc? How are they coming to your account?

If you PUTPAC and explain your situation then they possibly can put a ticket on hold if they are pending or will come in soon

Try checking out via paypal and they will hold it for about 24 hours.

I saw this tweet https://twitter.com/MilesMaven/status/457684650257678336
Thinking if I will be able to pull off the same, upgrading 2 from I to O Class.

One of my concerns is that the was a schedule change of 10 minutes, and now the receipt show that I paid 240,000 for 2 awards, when in realty I paid 120,000 for 2 awards (2 one-ways, 60,000 each), and when I press on change flights, its errors right out, and tells me to call United.

Feeder flight doesn't have space.

and the more tricky part, the LH segment which I want to upgrade from I to O is 4 weeks out, United showing availability, and ANA confirms it

So find another feeder.
If ANA has it then it should be fine.
