Guess that means you never attended a DDS.
I know that you've done this many times already but I'm sure you'll get a crowd for another one in the tri-state area.
I'm all in!

I cancelled without redepositing before the Devaluation... Can I add another person to my reservation without triggering a reprice?

Doubtful but with enough HUCA, you probably can.

Only the NY-ZRU leg can be booked with UA miles.

Not with miles.

Thank you. And is there a way to connect them after I buy them each separately?

Not really. Though you can arrange at the airport for the bags to go all the way through if the 2 airlines have a baggage agreement.

Hey guys, I thought I would throw my question out to those in the know:

I have 4 award tickets in June, from ewr to tlv and back, which I may need to cancel.  The ticket back  is from tlv to yyz (toronto) and then yyz to ewr.  I just checked my reservation and see that they changed the times of yyz to ewr leg.(They did not send me any email regarding this. I just happened to check, which is annoying)  I was supposed to have a 2 1/2 hour stop between flights and now it was changed to only 1 hour and 20 minutes.  Can I call them and ask for them to cancel the ticket, because I am worried that it is not enough time to connect and I dont want to be stuck in yyz overnight.  This would save me on a redeposit fee for canceling on my own. Do I have a right to ask for a redeposit because of my not being comfortable with this change? Any advice would be appreciated.

Too bad. Would be nice to have 4 tickets come back into the pool. Good luck.

There us such a thing as a legal transfer as long they consider that is a legal transfer I doubt they would let u cancel without the penalties but doesn't hurt to give it a shot

Call and say you don't feel comfortable with your new connection time.

+1
You are at the minimum, you shouldn't have an issue getting what you want after a couple HUCA's.

Can't you say that you were planning on meeting someone in the airport and now you won't have enough time?

Don't say that. Say what people told you before.

I meant in addition to the other suggestions, not instead.

Why not?
