Does anyone know the change rules/fees by heart? Would love to put them in a wiki.

I meant in addition to the other suggestions, not instead.

Why not?
When you say you have to meet someone, they don't owe you anything and they will ask you for a fee.

When you just tell them that that you booked the flight with the 2 hour connection because you're not comfortable with a short connection, you might have luck. You may wanna HUCA.
You can say what you think when you think what you say.

Heh, now here's a Q how in the world does anyone here have valuable status with UA? Do people actually pay for flights sometimes? ;)

Does she open cards/fly for free or pay for her tickets?

paid until now. And sometimes we still pay since we fly a lot and we are still building her credit.
ETA: I think the idea is that someone like us that has family in places that we have to fly to and we fly around 8 times a year we will end up paying for some flights

Depends how many miles you have. I'm more curious about the guys here that have 6 figures in the big programs on a consistent basis, yet also have status with every airline. Leads me to people there's shtick to getting certain statuses and would love to know more. :)

well there is status matches so for example I'm gonna be Aegean gold soon hopefully then I will get Turkish gold through a status match and I don't remember the order but it goes from one airline to the next giving you gold so if they paid for a few flights and did milage run on some price mistakes or on very low priced advanced routing you can get statuses very quick.
Also Dan has had some status deals in the past that give you a life platinum status for around 1500$ if I remember right

Why would you want A380 over 747?

Because I'm riding the 747-400 FRA>HND  at 6:20PM the following day and I want to try out  both LH F products. If anyone needs a ride in a Porsche on May 7th from FRA > Worms Rashi shul in a porsche  Message me.

Dan,

I started my MR transfer to SQ KF for the way back SIN-Europe-USA, just FYI SQ R allows stopovers in Europe even on One ways, that's what the SQ KF agent told me,  you can fly A380 SIN>ZRH, CDG or LHR STOP FRA>JFK, I'm working on it,  there were several SIN-CDG R available and open  FRA-JFK R also several open, I think it is SIN>FRA thats not easy to get.

But hey, everyone was in the FCT except me, I don't want to be left out, so i'm checking it out for ua 67K  :D
