this thread seems to be a pit of questions asked and no answers... just sayin;

I noticed that a NON-PHANTOM flight although on the calendar appears as a regular old "white" day with no saver stuff actually does have TWO saver economy flights. (I was able to select the flight). Sucks b/c already booked TLV-DC and purchased additional flight from DC - miami instead of TLV - MIA from united. Oh Well. hopefully you all can maybe catch this and not make the same mistake I did.

Just wondering, how do you know that it was NOT-PHANTOM?

I am seeing it sometimes lately as well.

Nothing new. UA award calendar is known for that.

Hi friends!
I booked a ticket ORD-VIE-ORD-SFO.
I flew already ORD-VIE-ORD.
Will i get miles back if i cancel the last leg?
I also see that i have a option of re-booking later within the next year, will i have to 100$ for it?
Thanks for your input!

You won't get back any miles. Not sure how much the change fee would be. Check the UA website.

ROTFL.. Good luck..
Is there even 1% chance that i will get it back?
Or is it a wast of time (and money) to even try?

Would you try it if you would have such a case?

I just saw this message on an itinerary I have on hold. "This flight segment cannot be confirmed. Please contact United Reservations for assistance."  It is referring to a German Wings flight from LHR-TXL. Will I be able to complete the reservation online? What does that mean?

ETA they are unable to issue the ticket as German Wings is coming back as unavailable.  I have a confirmation number and they wont issue the ticket, anyone ever hear of that before?

You can pay to redeposit the miles and use them on any flights, or you can rebook the same flights later at the rate you paid.

I found some flights on ANA that United doesn't show on their site, then called United but they claim they don't see availability for those flights. Does that make sense?

Which flights?

Tell them to check the internal system. Give them the flight number.

I asked to them check Singapore, Brussels and Lufthansa and I gave them the flight numbers but she claims she doesn't see anything. What's the internal system and shouldn't they know about it?
