IF I want to switch a ticket from Standard to Saver, would I be charges a change fee? would I be able to get a agent to waive it?

call them and tell them flight timing won't work for u then u have them in your ways they will let u change or credit the miles etc. For free

I'm wondering if they will let me switch to ANY FLIGHT AVAILABLE? Even if it's not a saver.

Also. Will they let me witch the flights that weren't changed?

Why don't you call and find out?
No one here can tell you the outcome of a YMMV situation. Good luck.

PUTPAC happens once. After that it's HUCA ;)
Depending on how persistent you are, you can do anything with UA.

Some Saver award seats open on the UA EWR-TLV/TLV-EWR route the next couple of days. Finally.

Gold still pays change fees. You called in, or did it online?

Did it over the phone, I called in from my mileage number, 1k, and she right away was like "YES LET ME CHANGE IT."

BTW, I still need to find some time for a write up on how you can book very cheap REVENUE tickets with UA EWR-TLV/TLV-EWR last minute. For example, see attachment. A few days ago there was no L fares for these flights. They were not so cheap for the last few weeks/months.. But now the day of the flight they sell it for $1100. When I added a return in about 2 weeks from now the price was about $1300.

Is this term also applicable in award tickets? I thought its just a concept in revenue tickets.

I have a ticket with LH in j (on the old chart) but need to change dates, the problem is that lh didn't release yet anything to ua for those dates!
Should I cancel without redeposit and then wait until it opens up?
Will I still be able to upgrade to f?
Thanks

Haven't checked recently, but TN used to have much better J award space CDG-LAX-PPT than LAX-PPT.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I changed an existing UA reservation with LH to a later date and UA gave me a new E-ticket number, however LH still shows the OLD E-ticket number on the new reservation. Is something going wrong?

Probably not. As long as UA re issued it, it's fine.

Did you call LH? Since most times it will show the old one online.
