first X then I= 82.5k  :o :o :o

Really strange. Seems the second option is charging you for the EWR-CLE leg. Maybe PUTPAC. or post a picture here of the ua.com page and let us take a look at it.

Shiz just booked (I) and left how long do I have to cancel/change?
I can give flight numbers...
Tlv-vie Os858 6/15
Vie-muc os111 6/16
Muc-ewr ua107 6/16
Ewr-cle (I forgot)
I'm gonna call know I'll let u know what happens... Doubt it'll be easy to lower an already booked award

On ua you have 24 hrs to cancel

Eta: the ewr-cle has to be within 24 hrs for it to count as a layover and not a separate trip.

Thanks very much for the reply. *From* technically, though I imagine the availability is pretty much the same. :)

Quick poll: Given the choice, and using your miles (not free-boating on mine! :) ) would you take:

A. Partner Saver Economy (42.5k miles) with a sub 2h connection somewhere, total time under 15.5 hours.

B. Saver Business or mixed cabin Business+First (80k or 90k miles) with a 5 hour connection in Brussels with lounge availability, total time 18h or so. Is First across the Atlantic worth the extra 10k up each from Business?

C. Standard Non-Stop United Business (175k) and hope Saver availability opens up, total time 12h15m.

Two adults, no kids, no health reasons to push in one direction or the other.
I would go with B and fly First for additional 10k. BTW the business product on that flight is really bad, so I would definitely go with F for 10k more miles. I would also rather fly LY J to BRU rather than SN J...

If there is UA F availability use Aeroplan miles it will be 62.5k not 80k for bru-nyc and 30k AA miles for LY J, TLV-BRU

You might be required to get your bag in Vienna

If you're looking to fly business I found a flight on my first try. Are you looking for a specific date, how many passengers, what class?

Sorry guys, I misspoke. I meant a single saver award flight. looking for August 10th, direct business saver to JFK is ideal.

I understand that you're talking about Saver because non-saver is almost always available. I'd imagine you'd have to wait closer to that time and even then, to JFK it's very hard if even possible to come by saver award.
