(Each recipient is limited to a total of 25,000 miles per calendar year from all individuals under the MileagePlus Transfer Miles program.)

Have an urgent issue, friend is on a united flight leaving 6:30pm. Aeroplan never ticketed his ticket. What can I do to expedite it?

When upgrading a UA economy class to business class on international flights, who will clear first, a premier silver flying on a full fare B class, or a 1K flying on a discounted economy class?

Aside for some exceptions, there are generally no complimentary upgrades on int'l routes.

I'm waiting for a specific LH flight to open up in First. Right now there is only one seat avail. Does UA ever show less seats than there are actually available?
Should I bother calling up?

I'm considering a last-minute booking from TLV-MLE through IST 6/24 on TK. Expertflyer shows 4 I class seats available, but united and aeroplan don't show anything. Can't check ANA as <4 days out. Called United also and they said no availability (something about ghost seats, but she also said I couldn't put the return flights, which were available [also not showing online though], on hold because "they don't do that anymore, and haven't for over a year", so I think she just wasn't in the mood to work). Any ideas?

Also checked TK btw and they're showing award space, although I don't know if they release different award availability to different airlines, although my understanding was if I class is available that it would be available for any *alliance partner ticket, no?

Called united again and at least got someone nicer but still said one of the legs wasn't available (again even though EF and TK show availability.

I'm currently waitlisted for next week NYC-TLV in XN.
How does it work, do I need to go to the airport and wait there? Is there a chance they call before 24 hours before the flight to confirm? Will my name show on the standby list?
