Don't you want to give yourself enough time to enjoy the FCT?
O i do. But i am only going to have a day in VCE if i come in so late and wont as much time to go around. Annnd my wife may or may not be that happy about that prospect.

Is it available when searched as one leg or does it only show up in conjunction with another flight?

I can book it alone. But don't want to lay out 60K for it and only possibly get it back somehow.

Sometimes it's only available as a married segment, that's why he asked if it was available separate. I assume he didn't mean that you should actually book it.

Exactly.
It's probably a married segment issue. You may have luck asking UA to contact the LH liaison and asking them to break the married segment.

Booked a MP award on OS. united.bomb didn't show the Amadeus Locator, so I called web support for locator, and was told they cant give it because its not an Austrian flight, rather a "TYROLEAN AIRWAYS", they can only give it if its "pure Austrian" flight.
So I called LH with the ticket ticket number, they told they can't do nothing because its an OS Flight, I told the rep that they are one (not like LX with LH which are 2 different res systems, OS/LH are both on Amadeus, when calling OS they answer the phone "thanks for calling LH"), but after a few minutes she finally gave me the record locator, then called right back LH and got KSML & Seats done....
Next time you can simply input your UA confirmation number on LH.com,  it will pull up your record and show the Amadeus confirmation.  You can then select seats and confirm kosher on OS.com.

Sure about this?

I have a flight EWR-VIE this Sunday.  Booked with UAMP,  I input my UA PNR on LH, and retrieved an Amadeus PNR. I was then successful in seat selection and KSML on OS.com.

We're you able to pull up your record on LH with  the UA confirmation?  And only had difficulty selecting seats?

Didn't try pulling it up. Flight is flown, so next time...

I need to fly NYC -lax-mex-NYC, can I make any one of those trips a free stopover with united miles? If yes, how do I go about booking/searching? Do I have to call and pay the 25?

Should be fine. Search Multiple cities.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

I'm having difficulty figuring this out can someone help me?
1) How many Biz/First saver award are available? Seems like none, correct?
2) Can/will these numbers change as it gets closer to departure date?

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is there a way I can get a flight from Rome to NYC for cheaper than 65,000 united miles economy class?
And also on a ticket from NYC to Venice I have for 30,000 miles with a stop in Zurich just for 9 hours and I would prefer to make the stop longer is there a way I can make a longer stopover for the same miles?

Anyone know how to avoid the $100 change fee on a mileage booking that needs to be changed within 24 hours of the flight?

I just changed mine online (International within 24 hours), and it was $50. Not sure when they charge 50 and when 100. It used to be all online changes 50.
