Why impressive ?
Impressive would be if it was wide open like this when no war would be going on..

I dunno. Just viewed it as impressive. Even in this time to have 9+ open.

Well, with a cabin of 50 seats and just 25 are booked you expect them to open 9+seats for award.

Award flights booked with UA on AC to TLV -
do the exceptions they are allowing because of the war allow to change to other  flights that have available seats or only award seats?

Only award seats. Though sometimes YMMV, especially with their own operated flights.

Don't think I've seen this asked but my apologies if it has been. I have 3 tickets booked from SNA to EWR and availability has opened on from LAX to JFK. I would like to switch my tickets and I have no problem paying the 100 dollar change fee. The problem is that I booked all 3 tickets separately (don't ask) and if I try changing them all it will cost 300 dollars. I tried calling United a few times to combine itineraries but they said there's nothing they can do. Do you think a few more HUCAs will help or are there any other ideas to avoid paying 3 changes fees? Thanks.

The change fee is per passenger, so it doesn't really matter what your scenario looks like. Try changing the ticket online, they sometimes charge only $50.

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.
