I have a msg on my United account regarding a flight on Swiss that I need to contact customer service because they need to reissue the tickets (I added a stopover on a one way award for the same price) anything to worry about?

Pull up the itinerary online and see if there is anything in red lettering there.

No red lettering just a note on top that I need to contact United to reissue my ticket

How did you add a stopover on one-way award? Any particular trick to accomplish it?

You got lucky. If I were you and if all look good on ticket, I will not call them back to back fire on me.

If you see the red letters you probably have to call in to get it reissued.

You might have to get the ticket reissued. It was probably some kind of time change etc. Just call in the India call center and have them reissue it so they won't bother the stopover.

I don't think that's the case here

When booking the Verrazano as a saver award, and changing flight at the airport, would I need to find saver space for the return as well?

Yes.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
