Shortest possible statement period Chase

I know that if I change my due date right with Chase before the statement closes, you can have a statement period last nearly two full months. 

But, I am not sure what the shortest statement period is?  For instance, if my due date/closing date is the 4th/1st every month and I make the following changes, when would the statement close? 

- On the August 10th, I request a due date change so that my due date is the 8th, will the statement close on August 11th (resulting in a 11-day statement?  Or, will the statement close on September 11th (resulting in a 41-day statement)? 

- On August 18th, I request a due date change so that my due date is the 16th, will the statement close on August 19th (resulting in a 19-day statement?  Or, will the statement close on September 19th (resulting in a 50-day statement)? 

I would like to know this so that I can earn my Southwest companion pass as soon as possible.

Data point: 

Last statement closed 8/1/22 and had a due date of 8/26/22.  On the 24th, changed due date to the 22nd, and statement closed 8/25/22 (even before due date of previous statement) resulting in a 25 day statement period.

Another data point:

Last statement closed 8/7/22 and had a due date of 8/24/22.  On the 26th, changed due date to the 23rd, and statement closed 8/26/22 resulting in a 19 day statement period.
