Windows shortcuts:

Ctrl+X=Cut
Ctrl+C=Copy
Ctrl+V=Paste
Ctrl+A=Select all
Ctrl+Z=Undo
Ctrl+P=Print
F5=Refresh (wore this one out during daily getaways)
Ctrl+N=New browser
Ctrl+T=New Tab
Ctrl+J=View downloads
Ctrl+H = History
Ctrl+Esc=Start menu
Ctrl+Left mouse click=Open a link in a new tab.
Ctrl+Mouse scroll wheel=Zoom in/out.
Ctrl+Enter=Adds .com to a URL in address bar.
Ctrl+Mouse Scroll=Change font size.
Clicking on a link with the scroll wheel opens in new tab.
ctrl+shift+esc to open the task manager
Windows button + arrows: maximize/minimize/right half/left half
Windows button + E: explorer
Windows button or ALT + Tab: scroll between open programs
Windows button + number: open program from task bar
Windows button + M: minimize all
Windows button + Shift + M: Undo minimize all

CRL + Shift + N: new folder
Alt (or Win)+ Prtsc - Screenshot
Alt+Shift: Change Language

Win 7 +

Win+L - Lock
Win+Tab - shuffle between programs (also alt+tab)

Chrome Shortcuts

Ctrl+Shift+N for incognito
Ctrl+shift+T - open closed tab
F6 - Highlight browser URL
CRL+ number: go to tabs

Firefox Shortcuts

Ctrl+Shift+P for incognito

Mac Shortcuts

CMD+C=Copy
CMD+V=Paste
CMD+Option+Shift+V=Pastes as plain text
CMD+Z=Undo
CMD+Y=Redo
CMD+X=Cut
Command+P=Print
Command+W=Closes window
Command+O=Opens selected file
Command+Space=Opens Spotlight
Command+N=Opens new window
Command+Tab=Cycles through apps
The next three can work alone AND are compatible with CMD+Tab
Command+Q=Quits Application
Command+~=Cycles through windows of running application
Command+H=Hides current window
Command+Delete=Deletes entire line of text
Command+I= Open Details window
Option+Delete+Deletes one word
Control+Shift+Eject=Sleep Screen("System Preferences → Security → General, check ‘Require password after sleep or screensaver begins" to lock computer using this combination)
Spacebar=Opens Quick Look
Command+Shift+Arrows=Select entire line of text
Option+Shift+Arrows=Select individual words
FN+f11=Show desktop
Command+Shift+3=Fullscreen screenshot
Command+Shift+4=Screenshot of selected area

Microsoft Excel:
I am adding these in the Wiki because if you work with Excel a lot, these will save you TONs of time.

CTRL+SHIFT+Plus (+)=Displays the Insert dialog box to insert blank cells.
CTRL+Minus (-)=Displays the Delete dialog box to delete the selected cells.
CTRL+D=Uses the Fill Down command to copy the contents and format of the topmost cell of a selected range into the cells below.
CTRL+Arrow Keys=Move to the edge of next data region (cells that contains data)[Also left clicking on a cell boarder]
CTRL+HOME=Move to the first cell in the sheet.
F2 =Edits the active cell and positions the insertion point at the end of the cell contents. It also moves the insertion point into the Formula Bar when editing in a cell is turned off.
F9=Calculates all worksheets in all open workbooks. (If you have formulas in your worksheet this will refresh their values)
ALT+ENTER=Adds up all the numbers above the current cell and displays the total in the selected cell. (If you have any blank cells above the selected cell, it will start the adding from the next cell below the blank one).
Ctrl+~=show all formulas on sheet
ALT+==AutoSum

being that when i saw this thread there was 4 pages i didnt think that there would be anything i can add but.....
windows + D bring u to the desktop[ no matter wats open , very useful and very unknown!

Ha. I wouldn't start listing PS shortcuts here. PS must have hundreds of keyboard shortcuts which are PS specific.

Ctrl+R refreshes page in Chrome.

In microsoft word, CTRL+} on a highlited text makes it one size bigger and CTRL+{ is one size smaller. Very usefull,  you can hold it down and it will do many sizes quickly

Nice, I've still been using ctrl+atl+delete from the good old days when that did the trick directly.
