Good luck finding saver availability for 35k.  Also, you definitely won't get a direct JFK - Honolulu flight for 35k.  As for lie flat, I am not sure who offers that.  I last flew first class on US Airways from Hawaii to NYC and it sucked.
1) You can find Saver for 35K on HA all day.

2) UA offers lie flat. Next time you fly so somewhere do some research.

3) IMO it's not worth it to fly to Hawaii in biz, if you ain't gonna get LF.

I've gotten 4 free Hawaii vacations and finding a saver for 35k miles is not always easy for the dates I wanted to travel.  It was somewhat easier a few years ago, but this year I had a lot of difficulty.

As for UA lay flat, they wanted a heck of a lot more miles for first class than US Airways, which is why I chose them.  I agree though that it was not worth it.
What do you do after your dreams come true?

I don't know what was available, but if saver was for UA J/F, then you could book it through SQ or US for cheaper.
