I have the option for points and cash or just points. Difference is $360 extra for the points + cash or 72,000 points for purely points. Added twist, I would need to transfer 6K chase to Bonvoy help make the difference to 72K. Which method makes sense? I'm thinking points b/c of the recent Bonvoy devalue. Any advice? Thanks.
How many points in the points+cash?

That's only a value of $.005 per point, which is not so awesome for even Bonvoy points and way too little for UR.

Time to pick elite benefits, last day is Jan. 8, iirc.

I earned Platinum and Titanium last year, I'm assuming best picks are 5 suite nights for Platinum, and 40k free night for Titanium?

Confirming the elite night credit counts for 2021 and is useless?

Does anyone think that Marriott will credit half of the required nights of last year's status again?

Thanks to you just confirmed my picks, 5 suites nights upgrade for reaching platinum (don't know when we will be able to use it.. These Marriott hotels never have upgrade availability..) And 40K night for reaching Titanium..

Does anyone know if Marriott charges an early checkout fee with points?

I am only staying 4 nights and want to take advantage of the 5th night free (for night status purposes) and want to know if they will charge an early checkout fee?

Thanks!

Why would you check out early? Just keep the room for the 5th night and checkout via the app or phone

For the new 2 free nights faster promotion, do I need to book the standard rate for it to qualify? what if I book the AAA rate would that still count in terms of paid stay? (Marriott uses term qualifying rate and not sure what applies)

Did the same, somehow i never end up using the SNUs (many of the higher end brands dont participate, or if i get an upgrade its not because o the SNU's...) Though once in a while a few come in handy. Shame I had 100 nights, that stupid dollar spend requirement for ambassador

I emailed messaged Marriott and they said it's a valid rate and would work. In case anyone wanted to know.

Side point but the AAA paid rate was significantly cheaper than the member rate ($45 in this case). For anyone paying it's worth checking as one night pays for a year of membership etc...
