does citi aa credit card give you a free checked bag on aa?

I have a citi AA mastercard and amex.  I'm flying on AA from LGA to Toronto.  Does anyone know if I'll get a free checked bag b/c of my credit card?  I know with continental it works like that but not sure about AA... ??

 I think UA has joined the band wagon with this as well, but unlike CO not on the low tier CCs but only on the equivalent to COs PP

I would say it's worth a try to say something like "don't I get a free bag with my A"A CC?" but don't count on it because there is no such thing. If they did it for you, it was a fluke...or a new ticket agent.

 UA did NOt join the band wagon, the higher fee CCs give access to the Lounges or E+ seating (depending on which CC you select) wasnt able to find anything that offered a free checked bag

are you sure it was free? are you sure they didnt swipe the cc after showing it to them?

There is never a waiver for over weight on AA even if you are EXP.

One of the major downsides to Oneworld over Star Alliance is the extremely strict rules to baggage allowonces. AA only allows 2 x 50lbs no matter first, biz to any destination.

I hope that changes
