It works out great, one guy will be pouring out wine by the makos into the other guy's charoses for maror and korech, and while one guy is darshening about why we say kol dichfin once we are already home with the doors closed, the other guy is opening the door for shfoch chamoscha, etc.

Meal is started together (after koirech) but that's where the divergence starts, with various preferences and choices.

הלל בציבור is done in shul. זימון - the first person to be ready and eligible (if quorum exists).
